“Under the Sea” brings a virtual visit to the beach with LIVE SEA ANIMALS! Get up close with a ghost crab, mole crab, horseshoe crab, clam and more! Learn about waves, sand, tides, and the sun. Join Andrew Wilson, a Marine Biologist who has been offering one of the best programs on aquatic life with a wide variety of live sea animals!Stick around after the program and watch Sunny the albino corn snake eat his lunch at 11:30am! Amazing Animals! Second Saturday Program
Wildlife Ambassadors will be giving an educating program on how animals survive, raise their young and live in their unique habitats. Animals will include birds, mammals, reptiles and amphibians. Program Time: 10am to 11am. Doors open at 9:45 am. Cost $4 per child for Broadlands residents, $5 per child for non-residents. Pre-register (not required) at www.broadlandsnaturally.org. Looking for fun craft activities for the kids? Come to the Nature Center and see the craft kits that we have available for only $1.00 each. They’re fun and easy for kids to complete! Everything you need to complete the craft is included, except the glue. They make great gifts and all proceeds from the sale of the Nature Center Craft Kits help us take care of our animal guests.
