HELP! Volunteers needed! Our volunteers are shorthanded for this movie – with three folks out of town. Please consider coming early (7:30) to help set up.

Bring a picnic dinner – or pick up something from one of the great local restaurants – and stake out your spot on the lawn. Coolers, lawn chairs, and picnic blankets are welcome. Free popcorn and drinks are provided. This is a popular event, so come early for a good seat! Movies will begin shortly after sundown – as soon as it’s dark. The times listed are approximate. Reservations not required. In the event of inclement weather, check the website to see if this event is cancelled or rescheduled. One lucky person will take home the DVD of that night’s movie in a random drawing from all attendees. Tickets for the drawing are distributed before the movie starts. Drawing will be held immediately after the movie and winner must be present. Flicks in the Sticks is a FREE event for Broadlands residents and their guests ONLY and is brought to you by the HOA Technology Committee.

There’s A Lot Going On in the Neighborhood!

There will be an events committee meeting on Tuesday, July 22nd at the Community Center, 43004 Waxpool Road, at 7:30pm. If you are part of the committee, please plan on being there. If you are interested in becoming part of this committee or helping plan future events, you are welcome to join the meeting. Snacks and drinks provided. We look forward to seeing you there!

Caring Hands Support & Education (CHASE) is teaming up with Woofie’s Mobile Pet Spa to raise funds for the non-profit organizations ongoing efforts to educate surrounding communities about animal welfare, as well as providing medical care for pets in need. 100% of the proceeds go to CHASE. Location: 43300 Southern Walk Plaza, Ashburn
Pricing: 0-25 lbs: $30;  25-50 lbs: $35;  50+ lbs: $40
A valid rabies certificate must be provided at time of service. Current clients of Woofie’s will not have to provide, if up to date.
