Flicks 10th Season – June 14
We’re celebrating our 10th year of fun family entertainment! Join your neighbors for movies outside under the stars. A FREE event for Broadlands residents and their guests. We’ll kick off the summer season with Monsters University on Saturday, June 14 at 8:45pm on the Nature Center lawn. Grab a picnic blanket, round up the kids, and join us for a great movie – popcorn and drinks are provided.
Volunteers spent last Saturday cleaning the movie screen in preparation for this summer’s movies.
Broadlands Fitness Center is Now Open!
The Broadlands Association, Inc. proudly boasts a brand new fitness center at the clubhouse located at 43360 Rickenbacker Square. Entry is accessible through the lower rear doors of the building, opposite the tennis court. The fitness center includes 3 treadmills, 2 elliptical machines, 1 stationary bike, a circuit of 6 weight machines, and a yoga room with a TV and Blue Ray player for watching workout videos. Hours of operation are from 5:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m, 7 days a week. No entry is permitted after 10:30 p.m. All users of the fitness center must read and comply with the rules located on our website before use. To access the fitness center, a key fob must be purchased. Key fobs are $25 each. One key fob may be shared per household or fobs may be purchased per person for $25 each. All users 18 years and older must complete the Agreement/Liability waiver form located on our website at https://www.broadlandshoa.org/fitness-center/ . Acceptable forms of payment are cash, credit card and PayPal payments. Please note that members who are 60 or more days delinquent in assessments will be denied access. Broadlands Annual Membership Meeting – Tues, May 6
The Broadlands Annual membership meeting will be held on Tuesday, May 6, 2014 at the new Broadlands Clubhouse, located at 43360 Rickenbacker Square. The doors open at 6:30pm for the purpose of registering a quorum. The agenda begins at 7:00pm. As part of the meeting, an election will be held to select two (2) members to three-year terms ending in May 2017 and one (1) member to serve a one-year term ending in May 2015.
Even if you plan to attend, you are strongly encouraged to complete and return the Proxy Form which you received in the mail so that a quorum may be obtained. Proxy forms are also available at the HOA office. You can change your proxy at any time before the meeting, or you can rescind it and vote at the meeting. We suggest that you sign your Proxy as directed, naming another owner or, in the case of a non-resident Owner, the Lessee of such Owner’s Home, or the management agent as your designated proxy (instructed proxies only). If you do not have a person in mind to designate as your proxy, you may assign it to the Secretary of the Broadlands Board of Directors. This will allow us to establish a quorum and to run the meeting on time.
