HLS Landscape Update – 9/21/16

Due to the extreme dry weather, the grassy areas are becoming susceptible to turf damage when mowing. At this time, HLS will monitor all common areas and courtyard homes and will spot cut as needed. Additionally, some trees may be losing 65-100% of their leaves due to the lack of water. These trees may appear to be dead, but are merely going into a dormant state to survive. HLS will also be laying down compost with seed in common areas near several townhouse sections and in spots around the old cemetery. In these areas, mowing will cease for a period of time to allow the root system of the turf to establish.

Please contact the HOA office at 703-729-9704 with any questions or concerns.
