The LeFevre Stone House
The Lefevre Stone House located at 43051 Waxpool Rd, Broadlands, VA stands as a beautiful testament to the rich history of our community. Built in 1874, this charming historic landmark showcases the distinct Pennsylvania-German construction techniques introduced to Virginia at that time. The house is more than just an architectural gem; it tells the story of the LeFevre family, who were significant landholders and key figures in the development of the area.
Since taking ownership in 2012 from the developer, Broadlands Association procured a committee to develop a plan to restore certain features as the structure was deemed unstable. You may review the following documents to learn more about the history and the restoration of this unique building including information about the Graveyard (cemetery on Waxpool) and the Schoolhouse lot.
